Surgery

Your pet is in excellent hands every step of the way.

Your Pet Is In Good Hands

It’s natural to be concerned when your dog or cat needs surgery.

Whether it’s a routine procedure, like a spay or neuter, or something more complex, it’s hard not to worry when sending your furry friend in for an operation. At Pinehurst Veterinary Hospital, we understand your concerns and are here to put your mind at ease. Our veterinarians are skilled in many types of surgery, and our nursing staff provides the safest anesthetic experience possible. We always make patient safety and comfort our top priorities for pets who need surgery in Lacey and the surrounding areas.

We are able to provide orthopedic surgeries as well, depending on the case. If your pet needs a procedure not listed above, please contact us.

We perform pre-anesthetic exams and bloodwork on ALL of our surgical patients to ensure they are healthy enough for surgery. Our team also closely monitors pets during surgery to ensure they are safe every step of the way. When your pet is in recovery, we’ll keep a close eye on them to make sure they are comfortable.

Before sending your pet home, we’ll give you detailed aftercare instructions. Following these instructions carefully is the best way to avoid post-operative complications. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. We also encourage you to reach out to us if you have any questions after taking your pet home.
