Dr. Jennifer Effendi comes all the way from Eastern Canada. From a young age, Jennifer always wanted to care for and be surrounded by animals and she was thrilled when she was accepted into the Ontario Veterinary College. During her education, she worked at various veterinary clinics in different provinces of Canada. She also volunteered with Global Vets in East Africa working with both domestic and wild animals, as well as participating in community outreach programs, which she continues to enjoy doing both internationally and locally (along with her trusty sidekick whenever possible). Following graduation, Jennifer moved to the most easterly point in North America but had since moved her way more interior until she felt the west calling out for her. 

Jennifer is grateful to have found such a wonderful neighborhood and hospital to welcome her to the PNW, and is excited to explore all that this beautiful region has to offer. She feels honored to take part in providing care to your cherished pets and has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, and preventative and palliative care. Outside of work, she would not pass up the opportunity for a swim, hike or trying out new food. She's on the hunt for the best butter croissant on this side of the continent!
